The William Esper Studio offers one of the most comprehensive training programs in the country for professional actors, and is considered the foremost studio dedicated to Meisner-based actor training. If you are interested in applying, please note the Studio’s application requirements carefully.
Esper Studio’s Two-Year Professional Actor Training Program provides training in the Meisner Technique and a full offering of conservatory-style classes. In the Two-Year Program, students attend classes a minimum of two days per week, and may attend as many as five or six days per week depending on their choice of program and scheduling.
I truly believe that the William Esper Studio is one of the better acting schools in New York City. It is smaller, so personalized attention can be given to each student that needs it. They hardly ever turn people away and always strive for people to be the best they can possibly be.
