Wilhelm Adalbert Hosenfeld (Hünfeld, 2 maggio 1895 – Stalingrado, 13 agosto 1952) è stato un militare tedesco, che servì nella Wehrmacht durante il secondo conflitto mondiale. Prima della guerra era un insegnante e salì i ranghi dell'esercito fino a diventare Hauptmann (Capitano).

Wilhelm Adalbert Hosenfeld (German pronunciation: [ˈvɪl(hɛl)m ˈhoːzənfɛlt]; 2 May 1895 – 13 August 1952), originally a school teacher, was a German Army officer who by the end of the Second World War had risen to the rank of Hauptmann (captain).

It was there that Hosenfeld found him in mid-November 1944, and helped him survive during the critical final weeks before liberation. In January 1945 Hosenfeld was taken prisoner by the Soviets. Five years later, on 7 May 1950 a military tribunal in Minsk sentenced him to 25 years in prison.

Wilhelm "Wilm" Hosenfeld was a German officer during World War II. He saved two Jews from the Holocaust, one of whom was Wladyslaw Szpilman, whose story was the basis of Roman Polanski's 2002 Oscar-winning film "The Pianist." Hosenfeld was born in a village near Fulda in Hessen, Germany in 1895.
