Wispers School was a British independent boarding school for girls aged between 11 and 18 which was founded in 1947 and which closed in 2008 after 61 years' operation. For the first part of its life it was based at Wispers, a large country house near Midhurst, West Sussex, UK.

A new girls' boarding secondary school moved to the site in 1947. The school was part of Herries School at Cookham Dean in Berkshire, and was initially known as Herries School at Wispers. It was renamed Wispers School for the start of the autumn term 1949, taking its name from the house.

Wispers School for Girls in Haslemere enjoyed an excellent reputation for over 60 years, as is testified by the Independent Schools Report 2007. Its motto - Fortiter, Fideliter, Feliciter (Bravely, Faithfully, Happily) - inspired numerous girls and their teachers throughout its existence.

Designed by Theophilus A. Allen in 1910 and completed in 1911 for the Scottish landscape and portrait painter James Coutts Michie and his wife.

The goal is to start training a generation of young scientists in the interdisciplinary expertise on WISPs, ranging from theoretical and experimental approaches to multi-messenger astroparticle physics and cosmology.
