27 ott 2010 · On the morning of July 7, 1976, 119 women joined the Corps of Cadets, establishing the first class of females at The United States Military Academy at West Point.
24 mar 2022 · Academic Year 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-2023 saw Reilly McGinnis, Holland Pratt and Lauren Drysdale lead the corps, respectfully, marking the first time in West Point's illustrious history that consecutive women were named the leader of the Corps of Cadets.
Since that inaugural class of 1980, West Point women have served as the surgeon general of the Army, dean of academics at West Point, and the commandant of cadets at West Point. Younger generations of women who graduated from West Point continue to shape the Army today.
Thirty years ago, 62 women were the first to receive their commissions as second lieutenants from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
