The Yale School of Medicine is the medical school at Yale University, a private research university in New Haven, Connecticut. It was founded in 1810 as the Medical Institution of Yale College and formally opened in 1813. The primary teaching hospital for the school is Yale New Haven Hospital.

Admissions. Yale School of Medicine invites you to take charge of your own educational path and to actively engage with it. We provide you with the flexibility and freedom that you need to pursue in-depth topics that fascinate you and to take the time that is required to develop deep understanding.
To apply to Yale School of Medicine, submit the AMCAS (American Medical College Application Service) application. This application will be sent to all the medical schools to which you apply. It can be found at the AAMC Students, Applicants, and Residents site.
