Yangzom Brauen is a Swiss/Tibetan Director & Writer. Yangzom (pronounced YANG-zom) is an award winning Film and TV Director. With her short film "Born in Battle" about child soldiers she received the well known CICT-UNESCO Enrico Fulchignoni Award as well as the UNESCO Gandhi Medal.
Yangzom Brauen (born 18 April 1980) is a Swiss actress, director, activist and writer. Life and work. Brauen, the daughter of Swiss ethnologist Martin Brauen and Tibetan artist Sonam Dolma Brauen, [1] started her acting career with small roles in Swiss television series. She had her Hollywood debut in the film Aeon Flux in the role of Inari.
