Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats (written as Uncle Acid and the deadbeats or simply Uncle Acid) [3] are an English rock band, formed in Cambridge by Kevin Starrs. The band have released six albums – the most recent, Nell' Ora Blu, was released in May 2024 – as well as a number of singles.

31 ago 2015 · The track ends with some impressive soloing at the hand of axeman Yotam Rubinger. The solo, while lacking memorable catchiness, packs dazzling showmanship reminiscent of Randy Rhoads, and if you close your eyes, you can almost picture the flourish it would play out with on stage.

1 dic 2017 · Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats. The early history of this strange band with the wonderfully hippy-esque name is shrouded in some mystery, as apparently there is some doubt as to whether Uncle Acid's henchmen (or were they henchwomen?), "Kat" and "Red", ever even existed.
Curiously enough, the band have dropped the '& the deadbeats' from the album/CD packaging, but the line-up of Kevin R. Starrs (guitars, vocals), Yotam Rubinger (guitars, backing vocals), Vaughn Stokes (bass, backing vocals), and Itamar Rubinger (drums) remains constant.
