Young Lions is the fifth solo album by Adrian Belew released in May 1990 by Atlantic Records. The album featured David Bowie singing on two tracks, "Pretty Pink Rose" and "Gunman", the latter of which Bowie and Belew co-wrote since he was acting as musical director and lead guitarist on the Sound+Vision Tour with Bowie. During the 1970s, Bowie covered three songs by singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen (pictured in 2012): "Growin' Up", "It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City" and "Spirit in the Night" (the last of which for the 1973 Astronettes project). All three would later appear on compilations albums.

The song does seem to divide fans, but perhaps not quite as much as the video featuring Bowie, Belew and Julie T. Wallace.

"All the Young Dudes" is a song written by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, originally recorded and released as a single by the English rock band Mott the Hoople in 1972 by Columbia Records. Bowie produced the song, which he had given to the band after they rejected his " Suffragette City ".
