Yugotrip plot. Dejan is a boy who fled the Balkans and now lives in Cologne. Dejan seeks permanent anesthesia in drugs and alcohol to curb his memories of the war in Bosnia. But his visions haunt him even in great drunkenness. He seems driven by a death instinct, seems to know no boundaries or norms.

Although he has lived as a refugee in Cologne for many years, troubling visions from the past continue to haunt him. Three of his friends from the time of the war visit him in vivid hallucinations.
He is notable for playing the role of Peter in the 2004 Hans Weingartner film The Edukators alongside Daniel Brühl and Julia Jentsch, as well as the role of Holger Meins in The Baader Meinhof Complex. Erceg was born in Split, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia.
