Biografia. Zawe Ashton è nata a nel borgo londinese di Hackney nel 1984. È la maggiore di tre figli nati da madre ugandese, Victoria, e padre inglese, Paul Ashton. Ha frequentato la Scuola Teatrale Anna Scher dall'età di sei anni. Suo nonno materno, Paulo Muwanga, è stato Presidente e Primo Ministro dell' Uganda.
Zawedde Emma Ashton FRSL (/ ˈ z ɑː w i /; born 25 July 1984) is a British actress, playwright and narrator. She is best known for her roles in the comedy dramas Fresh Meat and Not Safe for Work , the Netflix horror thriller film Velvet Buzzsaw and for her portrayal of Joyce Carol Vincent in Dreams of a Life (2011).
