Zelda Rubinstein. Zelda Rubinstein (28 May 1933 – 27 January 2010) was an American actress and activist for human rights and AIDS. She appeared on television programs, including Caroline in the City, Tales from the Crypt and Martin. She was also in many movies, though with minor playing roles.
A diminutive actress, Rubinstein made a memorable impression as the psychic Tangina Barrons in Tobe Hooper’s Poltergeist (1982), a role she reprised in two sequels.
