COPLAND, Aaron Musicista, nato a Brooklyn il 14 novembre 1900. Studiò il pianoforte con Clarence Adler, la composizione con Rubin Goldmark a New York e con Nadia Boulanger a Parigi. In questa città restò sino al 1926.
