The first half of Attack of the Hawkmen is a decent “boy’s adventure”-style episode. I’d place its tone somewhere between Snoopy and the Red Baron, and real air combat in World War I. The version of the Red Baron whom Indy meets is a less villainous (and less complicated) version of Belloq from Raiders.
