Course structure. The Acting Summer Foundation Course runs from Monday 15 July to Friday 20 September 2024. There will be classes scheduled on Monday – Friday throughout the duration of the course, typically running between 09:00—17:00. The exception to this is Monday 26 August; the School will be closed due to the summer bank holiday.

I will share here some drama school audition advice. Note: Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is widely regarded as a Top 8 Drama School in the UK, and as one of the best Drama Schools in the World.
Our Reputation. Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is one of the most well-respected conservatoire drama schools in the UK, having trained a range of award-winning alumni, including Oscar winners Olivia Colman (The Favourite; The Crown), Sir Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln; There Will Be Blood; Gangs of New York) and Jeremy Irons (Reversal of Fortune; The Lion King).
It also has an international airport. The main Bristol Old Vic Theatre School premises at 1-3 Downside Road are accessible to wheelchair users and we have considerable experience of working with and adapting our programmes to students with a wide range of impairments and we welcome applications from disabled students.
For this course, an overall score of 7.0 is normally required, with a minimum of 7.0 in reading, 6.0 in writing, 7.0 in listening and 7.0 in speaking. Please contact our admissions team for further advice. Entry to the MFA Professional Acting course is by audition. Auditions for this course are held online.
