Until 1989 the Theatre School was part of the Bristol Old Vic Company, but it is now a financially independent organisation. Courses. The theatre school accepts just 28 people out of approximately 2,500 applications per year for the three-year BA acting course, making it one of the most selective drama schools in the world.
Learning and Teaching. We offer a unique curriculum with a variety of teaching methods. With 50% of your modules in acting and the other 50% in drama, you'll develop your acting skills, while exploring other areas such as writing and directing. There aren't any lectures - you'll be taught through three-hour workshops.
