Students. Come play at Bristol Old Vic! Whether you're new to the city or new to the theatre (or both!), students are welcome at Bristol Old Vic. We're the longest running theatre in the English-speaking world, yet on the cutting edge of drama in the South West – whether in our 255-year-old main house theatre, or in our modern Studio space.
The theatre school accepts just 28 people out of approximately 2,500 applications per year for the three-year BA acting course, [6] making it one of the most selective drama schools in the world. [6] Applicants are judged purely on talent in two rounds of intensive auditions. [6]
