Clearing is the period in which UCAS works together with universities to help fill any available places they may have. In 2024 Clearing opens on Friday 5 July. You are eligible to apply for a course through Clearing if you: gained the exact or better grades than required, but want to go to a different university.
Step 1 Log into MyRecord. Click here to log in to MyRecord. If you’re already signed into the University network, you’ll be taken straight to MyRecord. If you're not signed in, you’ll need to do so in the usual way, using your student username and password. Once you've successfully logged in, make sure the 'Module Choice' tab is highlighted.

Please use your Student ID number to log on to the accommodation portal, which you will find in your Offer email. UCAS numbers, if used, should not include spaces or dashes. Surname means Last or Family Name. Please enter your date of birth in the format (dd/mm/yyyy). Contact details can be changed in MyRecord.
