For 850 years the castle has been a landmark for its community and a symbol of the power, wealth and ambition of the powerful de Warennes who built it.

- il Castello di Windsor. Un noto detto recita “la casa di un uomo è il suo castello”. Si può anche ben dire che per una regina un castello è la sua casa.
- Westminster Abbey. Uno degli edifici religiosi più importanti del paese, è anche sede delle incoronazioni reali. È difficile non rimanere impressionati di fronte a questo imponente edificio gotico cosi ricco di storia.
- Museo Nazionale delle Ferrovie di York. Il National Railway Museum è stata una delle più piacevoli sorprese del mio viaggio a York. Temevo fosse un’attrazione per appassionati del genere, ed invece si è rivelata una visita divertentissima ed adatta a chiunque.
