22 ore fa · John Carpenter's Halloween may be credited as kicking off the '80s slasher/horror craze but truly it was 1980's Friday the 13th, which itself was a somewhat obvious replication of Halloween, that really lit the spark. So much so that the film's landmark gore and high bodycount brought about (and changed the tone of) Halloween's own sequel.
