I am a visual artist and designer, born in Ireland and commute between Leicester and Dublin. I work predominantly with printmaking, painting and drawing. I work from my studio, Leicester Print Workshop and frequently sketch outdoors. My work as a printmaker has been influenced by the natural landscape of the West Coast of Ireland and the UK.
Emma Fitzpatrick is an Irish artist based in Belfast. Nature is a huge inspiration for her as she endeavours to capture the essence of our rugged landscape primarily through the use of palette knife. Emma builds her work up in layers over time using mixed media and oil paints until the painting feels alive

I love painting both outdoors on streets or fields and also working in my home studio. I use a variety of media including ink and twigs, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, etching and mono printing.

Artist Statement My work as a printmaker has been influenced by the natural landscape of the West Coast of Ireland and the UK. I am inspired by its dramatic weather fronts, primordial feel and the remnants of past human activity scattered around.
