It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI under the name Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore , [4] [5] making it the 18th-oldest school in the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).

3 mag 2024 · Year 9 boys visit the Collections. F-Block were recently given a tour of some highlights from the Collections. Among items on display were the Gutenberg Bible in College Library, a punishment book from the Archives, colours socks in the Museum of Eton Life, the wall paintings in College Chapel and a four-footed duck in the Natural History Museum.
