Gia Carides ( Greek: Γιά Καρίδη, romanized : Giá Karídi; born 7 June 1964) is an Australian actress. She portrayed Liz Holt in Strictly Ballroom, Susy Connor in Brilliant Lies, and Cousin Nikki in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Biografia. Gia Carides è figlia di padre greco e madre inglese. Nel 1992 interpreta Liz Holt nel film Ballroom - Gara di ballo. Nel 1996 Susy Connor nel film Bugie geniali. Nel 1999 lavora nel film Austin Powers - La spia che ci provava, secondo capitolo della saga Austin Powers .
Gia Carides has been working as an actress since age 12 in film and in theatre. She has been nominated twice for her work, in Strictly Ballroom (1992) (Best Actress in a Supporting Role AFI Awards) and Brilliant Lies (1996) (Best Actress in a Leading Role AFI Awards).
