- Why Gordonstoun
Gordonstoun School is a co-educational independent school for boarding and day pupils in Moray, Scotland. It is named after the 150-acre (60-hectare) estate owned by Sir Robert Gordon in the 17th century; the school now uses this estate as its campus. It is located in Duffus to the north-west of Elgin. Boarding. Day. £17,705. £12,865. Overnight boarding for day pupils, subject to availability, costs £68.00 per night in addition to the day fee. Unlike many other Schools the fees cover virtually everything in Gordonstoun’s very broad curriculum including expeditions and sail training and most weekend activities for boarders.
We welcome boarding and day pupils. Gordonstoun is one of the few remaining genuinely full boarding schools in the UK. Being a full boarding school allows us to focus on providing pupils with a stimulating, challenging and exciting range of lessons and activities seven days a week.
