Welcome to the Gottorf Castle's Museum of Archaeology! The Archaeological Museum Schloss Gottorf is housed on Schleswig’s museum island in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein. It owns more than 10 million findings from 80,000 years’ human history.
At the moment, we are working on renovating, extending and modernising the castle building. You can find more information about this at www.masterplan-gottorf.de. Once these extensive plans have been implemented, it will also be possible for people with disabilities to visit all our exhibitions without any problems.
