Herman Milton "Hank" Greenspun (August 27, 1909 – July 23, 1989) was the publisher of the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. He purchased the Sun in 1949, and served as its editor and publisher until his death. Greenspun was also a prominent real estate developer in the Las Vegas Valley.

The Greenspun Family. The Greenspun family has played a major role in the growth and development of Las Vegas since patriarch Herman Milton “Hank” Greenspun was a partner in the opening of radio station KRAM 920 AM in 1947, and published the first issue of The Las Vegas Sun newspaper in 1950.
The Las Vegas Sun was first published on May 21, 1950, by Hank Greenspun, who served as its editor until his death. Hank acquired the Las Vegas Free Press and two weeks later renamed it to the Las Vegas Sun. He started the Las Vegas Sun after he received a US$1,000-loan from businessman Nate Mack.
