Set on a 25-acre riverside estate in Barnes, South West London, Harrodian is a high-achieving independent school for boys and girls aged between 4 and 18 years old. Its beautiful site on the south bank of the Thames includes departments tailored to meet the needs of three age groups – Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior/Sixth – that make up a single, close-knit whole.
When they join Senior School in the 13s (Year 9) Harrodian pupils study 11 core subjects. In the 14s and 15s (Year 10 and 11) they are required to study seven compulsory core subjects: English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, at least one modern foreign language, and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

Welcome from Prep Leadership Team. Welcome to Harrodian Prep school where we provide a friendly and stimulating environment for boys and girls aged between 8 -13. We are determined to deliver a diverse and exciting curriculum and to meet high academic standards throughout Key Stages 2 and 3 and we use specialist subject teachers to achieve this.
Harrodian Minibus Shuttle Service / Barnes south side of Hammersmith Bridge Now that Hammersmith Bridge has re-opened to pedestrians, there will be a Harrodian shuttle bus service (14 seats available) for Pre-Prep and Prep pupils (8s-12s/ Year 4-8). Additional seats for older pupils and siblings may be available if there is sufficient space.

21 gen 2022 · On Saturday 5 February London LitSoc, a book club for kids run by the organisers of the Barnes Children's Literature Festival, will launch its first event. It will be staged at John Colet Hall at St Paul's School from 2.00pm until 3.15pm and will welcome authors MG Leonard and Sam Sedgman.
