  4. About us. Founded in London in 1768, Homerton moved to Cambridge just before 1900. Once an academy for the Nonconformist Church, then a renowned teacher-training college, since 2010 Homerton has been a full College of the University of Cambridge, offering all the academic subjects.

  5. 10 feb 2009 · Homerton set to become CambridgesnewestCollege. Last Friday, 6 February, the University gave approval by Grace to Homerton College to seek a Royal Charter. It is hoped that by the end of the year, the University’s 800th anniversary, this process will be completed to make Homerton a full college of the University.

  6. Homerton College. Homerton is both the largest and the newest College in the University. With a 250-year history, for much of which we were an acclaimed teacher training college, we received our Royal Charter in 2010 and now offer every subject at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
