5 giorni fa · He was an ok general, we've had much worse (see picrel for an example of a genuinely moronic and incompetent Italian general who doesn't get nearly as much flak as he'd deserve). I'd say his major fault was that he had a severe case of the "fight this war like the previous one" syndrome, but you could say that about most WWI generals.
