3 giorni fa · It’s been suggested that Qahtan may be another way of saying “Jokshan,” who was a son of Abraham, but Jokshan’s mother was Abraham’s later wife, Keturah (1Chron 1:32-33). So Jokshan was not a descendent of Ishmael. Christians have been taught to see “Ishmael” as synonymous with “Muslim” and all Arabs as sons of Ishmael.
