As we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Juilliard Dance, I am astounded by the great legacy of artists who have passed through the school as faculty and students. The early years of the Dance Division included such names as Martha Graham, José Limón, Anthony Tudor, Donald McKayle, Pina Bausch, Dudley Williams, and Paul Taylor.

Eligibility. In order to be admitted to the Summer Dance Intensive, you must: have a minimum of three years of prior training in ballet and modern or contemporary dance. currently be training for a minimum of 10 hours per week. possess a desire for creative exploration and an interest in new approaches to movement.
