Kent College, Canterbury is a co-educational private school for boarding and day pupils between the ages of 3 months and 18 years. It was founded in 1885, and is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.
Boarding Life. We offer three types of boarding: Full Boarding - Boarders stay at school for the full term with flexible exeats where boarders can remain at school for quiet study. Weekly Boarding - Boarders arrive at school on a Sunday night or Monday morning and remain until Friday for the duration of each term.

Originally established as a boys' school, it took girls into the sixth form in 1973, and since 1975 it has been fully co-educational. Kent College has thirteen independent "sister schools" in Great Britain, most of which are co-educational though three, including Kent College, Pembury, are girls' schools.

Kent College is an independent day and boarding school with a co-ed Nursery (from 3 years), Preparatory School for girls (5-11 years) and Senior School for girls (11-18 years). The Preparatory School will become fully co-educational by 2027 as it undergoes a gradual transition commencing September 2020 with boys welcomed into the Nursery.
