Kevin Tod Smith (16 March 1963 – 15 February 2002) was a New Zealand actor and musician, best known for starring as the Greek god of war, Ares, in the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and in its two spin-offs – Xena: Warrior Princess and Young Hercules.
Origini e carriera. Kevin Tod Smith nacque ad Auckland, in Nuova Zelanda, il 16 marzo del 1963 da padre neozelandese di origini inglesi e da madre neozelandese di origini tongane e tedesche. Smith si trasferì all'Isola di Timaru all'età di undici anni. Frequentò la Timaru Boys' High School dal 1976 al 1979.
