13 mag 2024 · New tour, new album (Bagboy) and new member, Kim Shattuck on bass and backup vocals, who replaced long time member Kim Deal who left earlier this year. Shattuck came by way of L.A. band The Muffs and before that, The Pandoras. On June 14, 2013, the Pixies announced that Deal had left the band.
6 mag 2024 · Shattuck died at her home in Los Angeles on 2 October 2019, from complications of ALS, aged 56. Shortly before her death, the Muffs had recorded their seventh studio album, ‘No Holiday’, released on 18 October 2019.
