The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a drama school located in Barons Court London. It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools.

LAMDA – the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art – is a world-class conservatoire offering exceptional vocational training through full-time and short courses, as well as an examinations provider offering qualifications in communication and performance.
At LAMDA we offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in acting, musical theatre, directing and production & technical arts, as well as a range of short courses and semester programmes throughout the year.
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, in short known as LAMDA, is a conservatoire that has been training artists for over 160 years. The academy’s current home is in Baron’s Court, West London, the former home of the Royal Ballet School, where it has been situated since 2003.
