Leonard Pearce (9 February 1915 – 15 December 1984) was an English actor who worked in theatre and television. He was perhaps best known for playing Grandad in the BBC television series Only Fools and Horses, from 1981 until his death in December 1984.

23 dic 2020 · At the age of just 69 wonderful actor Lennard Pearce died unexpectedly following a heart attack in 1984. Cast and crew were left devastated by Lennard's death and filming had already kicked off for the Hole in One episode. He was consequently written out of the BBC sitcom and Uncle Albert was introduced as his replacement.
