Mae Whitman (born June 9, 1988) is an American actress. She first became known as a child actor, starring in the films When a Man Loves a Woman (1994), One Fine Day (1996), Independence Day (1996) and Hope Floats (1998), and the television series Chicago Hope (1996–1999) and JAG (1998–2001).
