Mammoth is a British sitcom, written and conceived by Mike Bubbins. Bubbins gave up his teaching job to forge a career in comedy and plays PE teacher Tony Mammoth. The pilot episode was released in November 2021, one of six trial shows commissioned by BBC Wales.

18 apr 2024 · Mammoth is a new BBC Two comedy series that sees a larger-than-life 1970s bachelor transported into 2024 and excitingly the BBC has released a full trailer (see below). Starring comedian Mike Bubbins and Car Share 's Sian Gibson, it follows man-of-his-time Tony Mammoth, who is thought to have died in an avalanche on a school trip in 1979.
