Mammoth is a British sitcom. It was written and conceived by Mike Bubbins, who gave up his job as a PE teacher to make a career in comedy, and who stars as PE teacher Tony Mammoth. The pilot episode was released in 2021, is one of six pilots, tasters etc unveiled by BBC Wales.
Mammoth: With Joseph Marcell, Sian Gibson, William Thomas, Mike Bubbins. In 1979 an avalanche catches Tony Mammoth unaware - thought dead, Tony is bought back to the land of the living in 2021.

The synopsis reads as follows: Mammoth is a comedy show about the life of PE teacher Tony Mammoth. Mammoth is a man literally out of time. In 1979 he was a happy-go-lucky PE teacher, leading a school skiing trip to the French Alps.
Mammoth is about man of his time Tony Mammoth, a PE teacher who is presumed to have been killed in an avalanche on a school trip in 1979. When his body is discovered decades later in the present day, Mammoth is miraculously brought back from the dead and has to try and rebuild his life as a PE teacher in modern day Cardiff.
