L'atollo di Midway (noto anche come isola di Midway o Isole Midway, in hawaiano Pihemanu) è un atollo (5,2 km² e alcune decine di abitanti) situato a ovest dell'arcipelago delle Hawaii, nel Pacifico. Rappresenta un comprensorio geografico sotto il controllo giuridico degli Stati Uniti.
Midway Atoll is part of a chain of volcanic islands, atolls, and seamounts extending from the Island of Hawaii up to the tip of the Aleutian Islands and known as the Hawaiian–Emperor seamount chain, between Pearl and Hermes Atoll and Kure Atoll in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.

The Midway Islands or Midway Atoll is a wildlife refuge in the north Pacific Ocean, roughly "midway" between the USA and East Asia, just east of the International Date Line. It was made famous by an Oscar-winning color documentary in 1942, and a 1976 feature film, both about the battle which marked a turning point in World War II .
