Made famous by a popular Netflix series and a huge sprawling expanse covering Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and the far southeastern corner of Kansas, in my opinion this is a must-see (and stay!). The area comprises three separate areas: Boston, Springfield, and Salem Plateaus, and it is heavily forested.
