3 gen 2013 · Overall FIU is good, but my only complaint is the food is very mediocre and most professors are also mediocre/terrible. You'll most likely meet new friends who you will keep contact with long-term and it is also a very secure and safe environment. Try to enjoy your time there and take advantage of all opportunities that are presented.

For Students: MyFIU is your online portal where you can manage your personal information and class schedule at FIU. By visiting MyFIU, you can: Check your admission status. Add and drop courses. Pay for your tuition and fees. Manage your financial aid. View your unofficial transcript. Request your official transcript.
Students who left FIU with a GPA below 2.0 or were academically dismissed from the university and who have received an associate of arts (AA) degree from another Florida public institution can apply for academic salvage. If readmitted, students will begin with a new FIU GPA of 0.0 and will be credited with a maximum of 60 semester credit hours.
