10 ore fa · The 8 Show on Netflix showcases the realities of society. Most will draw comparisons between The 8 Show and Netflix’s other series, Squid Game. I am perhaps in the minority, of the people who have yet to see the global phenomenon. So, I suppose that comes with merits because I’m immune—or oblivious rather—to the comparisons.
The show had potential but went completely off the rails in the last 2-3 episodes. It had glaring plotholes, like not just buying items from the courtyard to leave instead of waiting and locking people in, we never got to know who the show was for and I found the psychological torture scenes quite disturbing.
