Is there a strong party / social scene at Oxford? I know people don't pick Oxford for the wild parties and social events, but it is something I am curious about. I'm someone who loves a cheeky bev fairly regularly, having a dance, getting weird, getting up to debaucherous shenanigans, etc etc.
In normal times, I'd say the parties are pretty big. Pretty much every college has a college bar (because the drinking age is 18 here!) and there are often bops (big parties) in the bar.
