22 apr 2024 · THE Pixies they announced via social media the bassist's departure from the group Paz Lenchantin. Lenchantin joined the Pixies in 2014, replacing bassist Kim Shattuck and appeared on the band's last three albums: “ Head Carrier ” of 2016, “ Beneath the Eyrie ” of 2019 and “ Doggerel ” of 2022.
16 apr 2024 · Still can’t believe that the Argentine-American Paz Lenchantin, after a decade, is no longer part of the Pixies. I thought she’d be a great fit to replace Kim Deal on bass. In March 2020, I saw Lenchantin, a former A Perfect Circle, Zwan, and The Entrance Band member, in Melbourne.
