Pierce Brendan Brosnan OBE (born 16 May 1953) is an Irish actor and film producer. He was the fifth actor to play the fictional secret agent James Bond in the James Bond film series , starring in four films from 1995 to 2002 ( GoldenEye , Tomorrow Never Dies , The World Is Not Enough , and Die Another Day ) and in multiple video games .
Pierce Brosnan returns as 007 in this thrilling adventure. A deranged media tycoon (Jonathan Pryce) tries to destabilise the world economy by orchestrating a deadly standoff between world superpowers in an attempt to achieve high ratings for his media conglomerate.
Brosnan's portrayal of Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies earned him the Saturn Award for Best Actor, making him the first Bond actor whose performance as the 007 agent was voted as a winner of an acting category in a particular major film award.
