In Times New Roman... is the eighth studio album by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age, released on June 16, 2023, through Matador Records. It was announced in a video teaser on May 9, 2023, [6] and is the band's first album since Villains (2017). [7]

- Queens of the Stone Age. 1998. Uno degli album fondamentali dello stoner rock, è il disco “desertico” per eccellenza dei QOTSA, il primo diamante grezzo della band, registrato a Palm Springs, nel deserto del sud della California, con una formazione a due: Josh Homme (chitarra e voce) e Alfredo Hernández (batteria), più un fantomatico Carlo (Von Sexron) nel ruolo di bassista, nient’altro che lo stesso Homme sotto pseudonimo.
- Rated R. 2000. Il successo è alle porte e il gruppo viene ingaggiato da una sotto-etichetta della Universal (la Interscope) per un nuovo contratto. Col supporto in fase produttiva di Chris Goss e di una schiera di ospiti eccellenti (lo stesso Goss, Mark Lanegan, Barrett Martin, Pete Stahl, Rob Halford), i QOTSA con il loro secondo album rafforzano la propria vena melodica, mantenendo quello spirito di ricerca e sperimentazione che è proprio delle Desert Sessions, progetto musicale ideato da Homme, all’insegna dell’improvvisazione e della totale libertà espressiva.

Rotto il sodalizio tra Homme e Oliveri (allontanato dalla band per la sua condotta eccessiva), Lullabies to Paralyze afferma l’egemonia artistica di Homme, affiancato questa volta dal polistrumentista Troy Van Leeuwen (ex chitarrista degli A Perfect Circle) e da Joey Castillo (ex batterista di Danzig), con la partecipazione di ospiti eccellenti, come Mark Lanegan e Billy Gibbons degli ZZ Top.
