Shrewsbury is one of the great schools of England, and has been ever since its royal foundation in 1552 by King Edward VI. Shrewsbury is a popular choice for pupils across the UK and overseas and each year we only admit 130 pupils into the Third Form at the age of 13; a small number join our Fourth Form a year later, at the start of the two-year GCSE course.
Extended School Care is a non-profit organization that provides quality before and after school care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Operated by the Shrewsbury Public Schools, the program is fully funded through parent fees.

Shrewsbury’s Sixth Form offers girls and boys two years of rich intellectual stimulus in the classroom, a wealth of experience and opportunity outside it, and an ideal preparation for life beyond. Within this new intellectual landscape, the range of academic disciplines is broad, the teaching of a very high standard, and the results excellent.

Food and Nutrition. Scrollswipe. Meals at Shrewsbury are enjoyed in our purpose-built catering hall, Kingsland Hall ('KH'), where pupils choose from a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes and then eat with their friends and tutors from their House. Our meals are cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible.
