Skaar is the son of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong. After Caiera's death, a cocoon containing Skaar fell into the lake of fire. After a period of time, Skaar emerged from the cocoon, appearing to be the age of a human boy.
Skaar is a fictional character, a comic book superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as a supporting character in stories featuring his father, the Hulk, who conceived Skaar with the extraterrestrial Caiera during the 2006–2007 "Planet Hulk" storyline.

He was exiled to Earth by his mother, where he attempted to kill Hulk and had altercations with the Fantastic Four. Skaar later briefly worked with the Avengers but was captured by the Intelligencia and recruited by Norman Osborn into the Dark Avengers, though he revealed himself as a double agent.
