Panik.tick, tick… BOOM! ist semi-autobiographisch, existenziell und innovativ. Das ursprünglich ab 1990 als One-Man-Show von Larson selbst auf der Bühne dargebotene Stück wurde 2001 posthum als Dreipersonenstück neu adaptiert und erlangte spätestens 2021 durch die preisgekrönte Netflix-Erweiterung zum Spielfilm größere Bekanntheit.
