7 mag 2024 · October 25, 2023. A year ago, the USC School of Cinematic Arts introduced the Ganek Immersive Studio, made possible by a generous gift from David and Danielle Ganek, with support from the Ganek Family Foundation, and it has since become a hub for pioneering experimental projects.
Taylor Tejada ’23 won the 2023 ScreenCraft Drama Competition with his script Ostrich, and also won the J. Holtham Mentorship Prize. Hernando Cortes Watson ’13 recently participated in the 2023 Sundance Episodic Lab and was the Special Guest Alumni for the Sundance Collab Session that took place in February 2024.

The Pinning Ceremony celebrates all Black SCA Grads, acknowledging one of their biggest moments this year in graduating film school before embarking on the next phase of their journey.
